About the Founder
Shaun Forslund has spent the last 25 years volunteering for nonprofits across his community — from the front lines to the boardroom — long before he ever sat down to write his first grant.
Over the past eight years, he has written grants for the Fox Cities Festival of Lights with a success rate north of 50% — a rate that consistently outpaces the industry average. That track record was earned the hard way: by knowing what funders look for, and by deeply understanding the missions he writes about.
A married father of three boys, Shaun built The Grant Bridge for a single reason — to help nonprofits succeed. Every engagement is personal, every proposal is tailored, and the rates are intentionally kept low so that the organizations doing the most good can still afford the help they deserve.
